Restaurants!!!? I'm volunteering with Habitat for Humanity next week, in the upper 9th ward. We get an hour off for lunch and i was wondering if anyone knew of good places where you can get a quick bite in that area. Also, what restaurants are there within the city that are a little more vegetarian friendly? In the past few months I have noticed that restaurants are using cheaper cuts of meat for steaks and filling our drinks with so much ice that when it melts your coke or whatever it is is so watery that you can't drink it (no free refills). The restaurant's seaweed salad is long, thin, light green strips.
