What to wear to autumn weddings?
I have two weddings to go to in the autumn, one in September, one in October, and I was wondering what sort of dress I should buy. Both weddings are in the late afternoon, not too formal. I'm really fair skinned and have reddish hair, so reds, oranges and yellows look really terrible on me. I live in CT, so it'll probably be pretty warm for the September wedding, but there's no telling what the weather will do in October. What about this dress, in the sandstone color? I don't like dark brown. http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product.jhtml?id=prod86205371&catId=cat190124

- I would wear a dress in a traditional fall color - think about reds, burgundies, chocolate and chestnut browns, eggplant purples... that should be your color palette. For dress styles, it really depends on your body shape, but you can rarely go wrong with a simple halter dress with an A-line skirt. You might want to think about buying a wrap or a matching jacket in case it's chilly.
- find a pretty little autumn appropriate color/weather dress. Im not sure where you are but in FL its stil hot.. Last year I bought a real nice dress from express it was like $80-90.. try looking at express, nordstrom, arden b, bebe try goin to ut local mall..better yet try going to mall , when autumn is close by.. u'll find alot of summery sundresses right now
- Every year there are new "styles" & colors for every season but typically fall is about the browns, the maroons, the oranges...those dark warm colors. It also depends on the wedding. Weather it is more casual, or black tie. But this dress is cute [in either color] for either a casual or dressy party. http://www.overstock.com/Apparel/BCBG-Max-Azria-Rene-Jersey-Knit-Halter-Dress/2455922/product.html?IID=prod2455922 This is really cute too: http://www.overstock.com/Apparel/To-The-Max-by-BCBG-Black-Dress/2218645/product.html?IID=prod2218645 And if you want something with a litle more coverage then this is great too! http://www.overstock.com/Apparel/Molly-Empire-Waist-Knit-Dress/2231513/product.html?IID=prod2231513 For shoes these are great to give it a little bit of a burst of color [especially if the dress is brown or black.] http://www.overstock.com/Apparel/BCBGirls-Zara-Womens-High-Heel-Sandals/2438106/product.html?IID=prod2438106 i hope i helped =)
- try wearing a cute, short, brown dress, or a little black dress from Dillards or some place like that.
