Reloacating to Atlanta from Maryland, any suggestions on websites for the moving process?
My wife, and 3 daughters are moving to North Atlanta from Maryland in the summer. We need all the help we can get. I need to make sure we do this the right way. Any advice, suggestions, websites, or anything that points un in the right direction will help.

- It really sucks. you should save your money and go else where in the south like norh carolina, or south carolina, any where in the south. why does atlanta come to mind to every person in other states. trust me it's not as cracked up as you would think. I'm getting the hell out of here. THIS PLACE IS SOOOO HYPED UP AND OVERATED. it's your choice
- You probally want to go to www.ajcjobs.com to find what you want. Or if you are home searching, the other link is a good one. Or if you are looking for things to do, the Atlanta Magazine will help too. And, you also probally want to ignore the narrow minded poster above. Atlanta is a great town with lots of great opportunities!
- I'm going to agree with your first reply.
- Atlanta is a nice place to live, specially the North part. Check out the ajc.com for information about schools, neighborhoods. Also, you can get this book "Newcomer's Handbook for Moving to And Living in Atlanta". It has all the information you need about weather, counties, neighboorhoods, moving, utilities, etc. plus attractions and things to do. I found it very useful. I got it when I move down here two years ago.
