What are good school districts for a beginning teacher in the Atlanta metro area?
I have been trying to research places to live -metropolitan areas of Atlanta, but I am opened to any place. I'm not picky. Suburban/ rural areas are fine as long they are in a reasonable commute to the city(30-35 minutes away).

- You might check into Cobb County Schools, or DeKalb, or Gwinnett. Of course, there is good and bad in everything. All of the above communities have some "bad apples" running around. There are a few problems with gangs and things of that nature. These three choices are okay- but there is nothing wrong with Atlanta Public Schools, nor Fulton County. It really depends on the demographic and the area that the school is nestled in. Good luck "Teach!" : )
