Fifteen female founders have been selected to participate in the seventh cohort of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) accelerator in Atlanta. The nine-month program aims to provide business development support, strategic guidance, and a collaborative environment for scaling ventures and building sustainable businesses.

Jen Bonnett, Vice President of Tech and Entrepreneurship at Invest Atlanta, said the new group highlights “the strength, diversity, and innovation that defines Atlanta’s entrepreneurial landscape.”

Since its launch in 2016, WEI has assisted over 90 businesses. Program alumni have created about 1,000 jobs for local residents, generated $42 million in annual revenue, and secured more than $8 million in capital investments.

Participants will spend approximately 20 hours each month on activities related to the accelerator.

Eloisa Klementich, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta, stated: “WEI is another way we are building a stronger cornerstone of our mission to build a more inclusive economy in Atlanta. By supporting women entrepreneurs at the earliest and most critical stages of their business journey, we are investing in job creation, economic resilience, and generational wealth that benefits our entire city.”
