BioTouch, a global healthcare logistics company, has announced plans to invest $12.5 million in expanding its two facilities in Columbus, Georgia. The expansion is expected to create 480 new jobs in Muscogee County over the next four years.
Governor Brian P. Kemp commented on the announcement, stating, “BioTouch’s decision to double down on Georgia underscores how our approach to economic development is bringing opportunity to all parts of the state. I want to congratulate Muscogee County and the entire region on this exciting announcement and the jobs it will bring to this growing community.”
BioTouch provides a range of services including custom healthcare kitting, specialty courier services, printing and promotional solutions, technology platforms, and temperature-controlled logistics for healthcare organizations and laboratories worldwide. Its Columbus operations focus on manufacturing kits for medical testing and sample collection. The company currently employs about 390 people across its two facilities in Muscogee County.
