Brasserie Margot and Bar Margot have announced the appointment of Chef Christophe Truchet as Chef de Cuisine. Truchet will oversee the culinary programs for both establishments, which are located within the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta.
Chef Truchet, originally from France, has a background in classical French cuisine and experience in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Le Bristol Paris, La Villa Archange, La Chèvre d’Or, and L’Amaryllis. He has also held international leadership roles at Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai and One&Only The Palm Dubai, where he worked with Chef Yannick Alléno. In the United States, his experience includes nearly six years with Hilton and Waldorf Astoria properties in California and Georgia, as well as culinary leadership positions in Atlanta’s corporate dining sector.
Truchet’s early passion for cooking was influenced by time spent with his mother in the kitchen and working on his family’s farm. He earned a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts from Lycée François Rabelais in Lyon before refining his technique across various respected kitchens in France.
As Chef de Cuisine, Truchet will manage daily operations at Brasserie Margot and Bar Margot. His approach emphasizes execution, consistency, mentorship of the kitchen team, and maintaining a guest-focused atmosphere that aligns with Four Seasons standards.
He joins an existing culinary leadership team that includes Executive Pastry Chef Eric Snow. Snow’s bread and pastry program is described as a key part of the Brasserie Margot experience.
“Chef Christophe brings a confident, grounded leadership style to the kitchen,” said Nancy Chacon, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. “He knows that memorable dining experiences start with simple, thoughtful details, respecting the fundamentals of cooking and using the freshest ingredients. Guests will feel his influence and creativity in every dish, with a level of care and consistency that makes every meal special from the moment they sit down.”
Brasserie Margot and Bar Margot are situated within Midtown Atlanta’s Four Seasons Hotel on 14th Street. Both venues aim to provide guests with distinct yet connected experiences from dining to cocktails.
