Delta Air Lines and the Atlanta Hawks have announced the extension of their multi-year partnership as the new basketball season begins. Delta will continue as the Official Commercial Airline of the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, maintaining its presence through assets such as the SkyMiles Upgrades Platform.

As part of the renewed agreement, SkyMiles Members attending home games and select events at State Farm Arena can access exclusive rewards and experiences by checking in through the Hawks and State Farm Arena mobile app. By participating, members become eligible for prizes including seat upgrades, on-court experiences, and merchandise.

A highlight of the collaboration will be the Atlanta Hawks “Delta Day” game on October 25. Delta plans to distribute co-branded luggage tags to the first 5,000 fans, offer upgraded lower-bowl tickets for select SkyMiles Members, and feature in-game activities reflecting Delta’s connection to Atlanta.

“At Delta, we believe in creating meaningful connections both in the air and on the ground,” said Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer of Delta Air Lines. “This partnership is another example of our commitment to delivering elevated, fan-first experiences that celebrate our shared Atlanta roots and the passion of our community. Together, Delta and the Atlanta Hawks are redefining what it means to engage with customers through unforgettable moments.”

To mark the partnership and Delta’s 100th anniversary, Hawks Principal Owner Tony Ressler, President of Business Enterprise and Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Saltzman, and former Hawks player Dominique Wilkins presented Delta CEO Ed Bastian with a customized number 100 jersey at the Delta SKY360° Club in State Farm Arena.

“Delta Air Lines is both a leader in the airline industry and a cornerstone of the Atlanta community, and we are thrilled to be able to extend and enhance our partnership,” said Saltzman. “Delta’s dedication to excellence, customer service and innovation perfectly aligns with our core values, and we are excited to introduce exclusive benefits to their SkyMiles members.”

The agreement also keeps Delta as the title sponsor of the Delta SKY360° Club at State Farm Arena, an exclusive area for courtside ticket holders that offers all-inclusive food and drinks. Other branding elements include the Diamond Deck 3 entrance and the Delta Fly-Through-Lanes, providing select fans access through an exclusive security entrance.

The extension is part of Delta’s broader involvement in Atlanta sports. The airline is also the Official Airline of the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the University of Georgia, and Georgia Tech. Delta supports the local community by donating 1% of its net income each year to charitable organizations. The company has been named one of the 50 most community-minded companies in the United States by Points of Light for eight consecutive years.
