Delta Air Lines has been ranked No. 10 on Forbes’ second annual Most Trusted Companies in America list, placing it among the top 300 companies recognized for trustworthiness in the United States.

“Congratulations to every member of the Delta team for this outstanding honor,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. “Being named one of America’s most trusted companies reflects the care and service our people consistently deliver for our customers and the communities we serve. These values have helped us reach 100 years and will carry us into our next century of flight.”

Forbes’ methodology evaluated more than 50 metrics across six categories: employee sentiment, customer sentiment, financial performance, business trajectory, media perception, and workforce stability. The assessment included data from sources such as Glassdoor, HundredX, Crunchbase, SignalAI, People Data Labs, and Forbes itself. Companies considered for the ranking had to be headquartered in the U.S. with over 10,000 domestic employees; government agencies, schools, and nonprofits were not eligible.

Delta’s placement on the list comes during its centennial year and follows several other recognitions highlighting its industry leadership. The airline was also featured in Forbes’ list of America’s best employers by state, achieving a No. 1 ranking in Georgia, Michigan, and Utah.

According to Delta’s statement, its culture of care and focus on service have contributed to strong brand trust among customers. The company credits its workforce as a key factor behind receiving this recognition from Forbes.

Scores for each category were calculated using submetrics relevant to that area, normalized against industry benchmarks before being combined into an overall trust score that determined final rankings.
