Delta Air Lines has been named the Best U.S. airline for 2025 by Forbes Travel Guide, marking the second consecutive year the carrier has received this recognition in FTG’s Verified Air Travel Awards.

The winners of these awards were selected through an invitation-only survey that included more than 9,000 individuals from the hospitality industry. The group consisted of luxury travel advisors and FTG’s most frequent travelers, including incognito inspectors and members of the training team.

“We’re honored Forbes Travel Guide recognized us for the second year in a row, especially as we celebrate our centennial,” said Erik Snell, E.V.P. and Chief Customer Experience Officer. “It’s a true credit to the Delta people who take pride in what they do every day. Innovation and design shape the customer experience, but it’s our people whose care and dedication set Delta apart.”

In addition to being named Best U.S. airline, Delta received four other honors in FTG’s 2025 Verified Travel Awards: Best U.S. First Class (for its A321neo First Class), Best U.S. Business Class (for Delta One), Best U.S. Airline Lounge (for its Delta One Lounge at JFK Airport), and Best Airline App (for Fly Delta).

The A321neo First Class features a modern design focused on privacy, workspace, and storage for a premium passenger experience. The Delta One business class cabin offers access to dedicated lounges and Sky Priority services.

Delta’s lounge at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport was highlighted for offering varied experiences and amenities for premium travelers. The Fly Delta app was also recognized for providing real-time features designed to streamline each stage of travel.

New York’s LaGuardia Airport was named Best U.S. Airport by Forbes Travel Guide for a second straight year as well. Delta operates more than 220 daily departures from LGA, giving travelers from New York and New Jersey extensive connectivity options.

“Being named the nation’s best airport by Forbes Travel Guide for the second year in a row is an incredible honor and a testament to the lasting impression LaGuardia has made in its transformation into a world-class gateway,” said Ryan Marzullo, Delta’s Managing Director of New York Corporate Real Estate. “Delta is proud of our continued partnership with the Port Authority and LaGuardia Gateway Partners to deliver a state-of-the-art terminal that reflects our shared commitment to providing a premium travel experience for New Yorkers, New Jerseyans and visitors alike.”

Delta recently completed enhancements to Terminal C at LaGuardia as part of a $4 billion transformation project carried out with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
