Delta Air Lines has opened its second largest Delta Sky Club at Salt Lake City International Airport, located in Concourse B. The new lounge covers nearly 34,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 600 guests. The design of the space draws inspiration from Utah’s natural landscape, incorporating elements that reflect the state’s mountains, lakes, and caverns.

The lounge offers a range of amenities for both business and leisure travelers. Features include panoramic views of the airfield, a wrap-around premium bar, nine sound-proof telephone booths for private work calls, an expansive buffet with freshly prepared salads and sandwiches, and two beverage stations. A unique “Dirty Soda” bar is also available exclusively at this location.

Claude Roussel, vice president – Delta Sky Club and lounge experience, said: “Salt Lake City continues to be a key hub in our network, and opening our second Delta Sky Club at the airport reflects our deepening commitment to the market. This space was designed with direct input from our customers—what they love, what they need and how they want to feel when they travel. From the seating layout to the food and beverage offerings, every detail was crafted to deliver an elevated experience that makes the lounge feel like a home away from home.”

Design features inside the club include a geometric ceiling and terrazzo mosaic flooring intended to evoke winter light on snow. Rich wood tones, jewel accents, and copper details are used throughout the upstairs area. Artwork curated for the club showcases local artists and commissioned pieces that celebrate Utah’s landscapes. The Digital Immersion wall—a first for Delta—offers panoramic visuals of iconic landmarks accompanied by nature sounds.

This new Sky Club is part of Delta’s ongoing investment in Salt Lake City as part of “The New SLC” redevelopment program. The expansion includes 10 additional gates and an enlarged Concourse B footprint aimed at improving operational efficiency and passenger flow.

Delta has introduced several enhancements for travelers departing from Salt Lake City. SkyMiles Members using the Fly Delta app can use expedited TSA PreCheck Touchless ID lanes by storing their Known Traveler Number and passport information in their profile. Additionally, Delta One customers now have access to a concierge-style check-in experience at SLC; this service will be available at all hubs by year-end.

Delta operates up to 255 peak-day departures from Salt Lake City to nearly 100 destinations worldwide. The airline maintains partnerships with local organizations such as Utah Food Bank, YMCA of Northern Utah, and American Red Cross. It is also involved in community initiatives as Naming Rights Partner of the Delta Center and Official Airline partner of teams like the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth. More than 4,800 Delta employees live in Utah.
