Delta Air Lines has been recognized as one of the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces for Women, returning to the list after last appearing in 2019. The ranking is based on feedback from employees through the Great Place To Work Trust Index Survey and an evaluation by Great Place To Work.

This year, Delta ranked 25th among the top 100 Best Large Workplaces for Women. According to Stephanie Asbury, Chief Talent Officer at Delta, “This honor reflects the impact of employee feedback and our ongoing commitment to progress through listening and shared growth. From our annual WING flight to our partnerships with the WNBA, NWSL and Women’s Sports Foundation, Delta has long been committed to creating a world where women can thrive and lead.”

Delta has implemented several initiatives that support women in its workforce. In response to employee input about challenges in starting families, Delta introduced benefits supporting fertility treatments, surrogacy, and adoption services through Progyny and Maven in 2023. By 2025, more than 2,000 employees have started IVF, surrogacy, or adoption processes with over 250 babies born.

The airline also supports women through its SHE Business Resource Group (BRG), which is focused on empowering women at work within a culture that encourages allyship and inclusion.

For a decade, Delta has hosted the Aviation Women Inspiring the Next Generation (WING) Flight with Women in Aviation International. This event features a flight crewed entirely by women and brings girls aged 11–18 from Atlanta to Florida’s Space Coast for Girls in Aviation Day. The program aims to introduce young women to aviation careers.

Delta also maintains partnerships aimed at supporting women beyond its own organization. These include sponsorships with Team USA, the Women’s Sports Foundation, as well as league sponsorships such as those with the National Women’s Soccer League and Women’s National Basketball Association.
