Emory University has been ranked No. 24 among national universities in the 2026 “Best Colleges” rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The university was also recognized as No. 21 for “Best Value,” a ranking that takes into account both academic quality and cost, and placed at No. 31 in the “Most Innovative” category.

The rankings highlight Emory’s performance in several areas, including recognition for its “First-Year Experiences” and opportunities for “Undergraduate Research/Creative Projects.” These categories are intended to reflect programs that support student engagement and academic growth.

Within specific undergraduate programs, Emory’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing was ranked No. 2 nationwide for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Goizueta Business School earned the No. 12 spot among undergraduate business programs across the country. These program-specific rankings are based on surveys conducted with deans and senior faculty from various institutions.
