Founders from across Tennessee are set to compete in the upcoming 3686 pitch competition, which will be held during Nashville’s annual entrepreneurial conference. The event will feature five startups that span a range of industries, including HRTech and HealthTech. These teams will vie for a $10,000 cash prize as well as in-kind services valued at up to $5,000 provided by The Operations Guide.

Last year’s pitch competition saw Onrise, a tele-mental health solution designed for athletes, take home the top award. Following their win, Onrise secured additional funding through LaunchTN’s InvestTN fund, which is backed by $70 million in equity investment capital (https://launchtn.org/investtn/). MasRefund, a bilingual tax refund company founded by Dr. Simon Karmarkar to help users navigate barriers when filing taxes, was selected as the audience choice winner.

Details about tickets and further information on the 3686 conference can be found online (https://www.3686conference.com/).
