The University of Georgia football team defeated Charlotte 35-3 on Saturday at Sanford Stadium. The game marked the first meeting between the two programs, with Georgia taking an early lead and maintaining control throughout.
Freshman running back Bo Walker had a standout performance, scoring the first three touchdowns of his college career. Georgia’s offense started strong with two rushing touchdowns from Nate Frazier in the first quarter. By halftime, Walker had added two more scores, putting the Bulldogs ahead 28-3.
Georgia finished the game with 449 total yards and 30 first downs, while Charlotte managed just 169 yards and seven first downs.
