The Georgia Bulldogs football team secured their eighth consecutive win over Georgia Tech, finishing with a 16-9 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday. The game saw limited offensive production from both teams, but the Bulldogs managed to perform well enough in all aspects to maintain their winning streak against the Yellow Jackets.

Following this win, Georgia has clinched a spot in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship Game after ending the regular season with a 7-1 record in conference play. The upcoming SEC Championship will see Georgia face Alabama on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. on ABC. Georgia previously won the SEC Championship Game five times, including last year’s victory over Texas.
