In a high-scoring football game at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, the University of Georgia Bulldogs secured a 43-35 win over the Ole Miss Rebels. The matchup featured two top-10 ranked teams, with Georgia ranked ninth and Ole Miss fifth.
Ole Miss started strong, scoring touchdowns on each of their first five possessions. However, Georgia’s defense managed to halt the Rebels’ offense in the fourth quarter, which proved decisive for the Bulldogs’ victory.

Georgia running back Cash Jones led the team onto Dooley Field. The pregame festivities included appearances by mascot Hairy Dawg, Uga XI Boom, and Charles Seiler during “College GameDay.” The event also featured “College GameDay” hosts Pat McAfee and Nick Saban alongside Georgia head coach Kirby Smart.
On the field, tight end Lawson Luckie scored three touchdowns, celebrating with his family and teammates. Quarterback Gunner Stockton and running back Nate Frazier also contributed to the Bulldogs’ offensive efforts, with Frazier scoring a crucial fourth-quarter touchdown.
The Redcoat Marching Band performed at halftime, and fans participated actively, raising their hands at the start of the fourth quarter and cheering throughout the game. Guest picker Jelly Roll showed support for Georgia during “College GameDay.”
Late in the game, Georgia defenders increased pressure on Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, helping to secure the win. The Paint Line celebrated with students as fans marked the end of Georgia’s victory over Ole Miss.
