As Georgia continues to adapt to a rapidly changing economic environment, officials are considering different strategies for job growth. Steve Justice, executive director of the Georgia Centers of Innovation, discussed two main approaches.

“One is to invite people to come and bring them (jobs) there, the other is to grow them from the ground up, and you’ve got to have both,” Justice said.

These comments come as state leaders look for ways to encourage economic development in a competitive market. The Georgia Centers of Innovation has played a role in supporting local businesses and fostering innovation as part of these efforts.
