The Georgia Institute of Technology will launch its 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training for employees later this month. The program aims to help faculty, staff, and student employees understand and follow policies set by the University System of Georgia and the Institute.

“Training plays an important role in a well-rounded and effective compliance program. The active participation of our employees demonstrates a commitment to ethics and compliance across the Institute,” said Danette Joslyn-Gaul, general counsel and vice president for Ethics, Compliance, and Legal Affairs.

All current faculty, staff, and students who are employed as of August 1 are required to complete the training by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, September 12. The training will be available online at b.gatech.edu/genius starting August 25. It is expected to take about 90 minutes to finish.

The program consists of two parts: “2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training” and “2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training – Common Threats.” Participants can use a desktop or laptop computer to access the course material, which does not need to be completed in one session. Employees who do not finish the training by the deadline may face disciplinary action from the Institute.
