Today marks Giving Tuesday, an annual event that encourages people across the globe to support charitable organizations following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser and is seeking donations.

The organization stated, “Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides.”

Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines is supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), which has identified it as its preferred charity. The group’s efforts aim to provide trained service dogs to those in need.

Individuals interested in contributing can donate through the organization’s website.
