At The Home Depot, the company continues to support professional customers by offering more than just products. Through its loyalty program, Pro Xtra, the retailer aims to help renovators, remodelers and specialty tradespeople operate their businesses with greater efficiency.
Pro Xtra members can enroll online, via the mobile app or at the Pro Desk in stores. Membership provides access to a range of benefits designed to simplify workflows and offer rewards for ongoing loyalty.
The program’s features include project planning tools that allow professionals to browse products, check inventory levels, customize deliveries and collaborate with teams in real time through the app. Paint-related savings are also available: “Save up to 20% on paints, stains, primers – including our exclusive Kilz braded primer products – and solvents, track your color history and keep your crew on schedule with free job site delivery, as soon as the next day.”
Pro Xtra offers customized pricing for frequently purchased items. Members can also work toward Elite and VIP status for additional savings and special offers. Specialized rental equipment is available along with integration options for third-party construction management software. The program also allows pre-set user spend limits through Pro Allowance and approval of in-store purchases via text using Text2Confirm.
Checkout is streamlined with HD Pass—Pro Xtra’s digital wallet—which enables members to redeem rewards, make purchases, apply perks and retain receipts through a single scan.
During Pro Xtra Week running through October 12th, members can access vendor demonstrations in stores as well as giveaways and discounts on essential items. According to The Home Depot: “For a full list of the deals on display during Pro Xtra week, visit the In-App Rewards Hub or visit www.homedepot.com/myaccount/proXtraRewards.” New members who join between October 6th and October 12th will receive special offers within 48 hours of joining.
The Home Depot also highlights its efforts to help build future skilled trades workforces. Online resources include entry-level certifications, advanced training opportunities and networking platforms developed in partnership with The Home Depot Foundation. “The Path to Pro Network, available exclusively to Pro Xtra members, allows pros to post job openings and connect with The Home Depot’s network of candidates.”
A company statement reads: “By combining exclusive rewards, tailored pricing, advanced digital tools and dedicated in-store support, we’re helping Pros focus less on logistics and more on building what matters most. Because when our Pros succeed, we all build something bigger together.”
