IAM District 142 recently held its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix. The event was organized to raise funds for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines, a charity supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).

The tournament is described as a competitive fundraiser among various IAM districts. Money raised through the event, including proceeds from games and donated prizes, will help fund the training and placement of service dogs. These dogs are provided free of charge to visually impaired individuals, veterans with PTSD, and autistic children.

Staff from Guide Dogs of America attended the event along with puppies in training. Attendees noted their enthusiasm for both the cause and the amount of money raised during the tournament.
