IAM leaders visit Wisconsin plants to recognize union craftsmanship

IAM Union International President Brian Bryant, Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett, and Chief of Staff Vinny Addeo recently visited union members at Mercury Marine and John Deere facilities in Wisconsin. The tour included IAM Local 1947 members from Mercury Marine and Local 873 members from John Deere.

Local officials guided the IAM officers and staff through the manufacturing sites. During his visit, Bryant highlighted the quality of work and skill demonstrated by union members producing Mercury Outboard engines and John Deere equipment. He stated his admiration for the high standards maintained at both facilities.

Workers at Mercury Marine described their expertise in machining, pouring, and grinding processes. They emphasized their pride in contributing to American-made products.
