Members of IAM Local SC 711 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract, which covers 29 job classifications including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians, will take effect on January 1, 2026.
The agreement provides for an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the contract’s duration: 4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Other provisions include increased paid leave with an additional eight hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% rise in 401(k) contributions, maintenance of the IAM pension plan, an extra $390 per month earned during the life of the contract, and company-covered increases in the rehabilitation plan. New on-call and standby pay provisions are included as well as language to protect overtime pay.

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local in 2016 after previously being part of an amalgamated local more than 25 miles away. Members formed their own local chapter to address specific needs more effectively and strengthen their presence within their workplace.
