As the year comes to a close, International President Brian Bryant of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union) shared a holiday message with union members and their families. In his message, Bryant expressed appreciation for the work IAM Union members do across various industries.

Bryant acknowledged the essential roles that union members play in sectors such as airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and other worksites. He stated: “IAM Union members make the holidays happen – and your union couldn’t be prouder of the work you do.”

He highlighted the commitment shown by members who continue working during the holiday season to keep services running. “From our airports and railroads to the shops, facilities, and worksites that millions rely on every day, your talent and dedication keep this country running, even as others head home to celebrate. I see the sacrifice, the long hours, and the pride you take in your craft. It doesn’t go unnoticed,” said Bryant.

Bryant also emphasized that being part of IAM Union is about more than collective bargaining or negotiations. “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”

He concluded by thanking members not only for their contributions to the union but also for their service within their communities: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.” On behalf of IAM’s Executive Council, he wished everyone peace, warmth, gratitude during this season and hope in the coming year.
