Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, effective September 1, 2025. The announcement was made by Brian Bryant, International President of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), with Geilker reporting to IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker began her tenure at IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. She played a key role in organizing campaigns that brought new members into The Pharmacy Guild/IAM from companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy. These new members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at multiple Fortune 500 firms.

Prior to joining the IAM Healthcare staff in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer for the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team representing workers in various sectors including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
