The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center will begin its 2025-26 UGA Presents season with a performance by Tony Award-winning artist Lea Salonga. The event, titled “Stage, Screen & Everything In Between,” is scheduled for September 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall.
Salonga is known for her roles in Broadway productions such as Miss Saigon and Les Misérables, as well as being the singing voice for Disney characters Mulan and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. She was recently named a Disney Legend. During the concert, Salonga and her band will perform a selection of Broadway songs, classics, and personal favorites from her career.
On September 10, two events will be held in connection with the season opening. The first is “A Conversation with Lea Salonga,” where she will discuss her four-decade career with Jeffrey Martin, director of the UGA Performing Arts Center. This free event takes place at 5 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall and does not require tickets.
Also on September 10, there will be a poster sale from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby. The sale includes signed and unsigned posters from past guest artists. Part of the proceeds will support the new Arts Impact Endowment, which aims to sustain arts education and outreach programs.
This season marks the 30th anniversary of UGA Presents’ series featuring international touring artists. More than 40 events are planned throughout the year, including a gala performance by cellist Yo-Yo Ma on February 1, 2026.
Tickets can be purchased online at pac.uga.edu, by calling the box office at 706-542-4400 Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., or by visiting the box office during those hours.
