Dozens of workers from Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, along with their supporters, held rallies at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and at the company’s Aguadilla facility. The demonstrations were organized to protest what they describe as union-busting tactics by the company.

Participants called on Lufthansa Technik to stop actions they say are aimed at dividing workers and to respect the employees responsible for aircraft safety. Signs and statements at the rallies emphasized the importance of recognizing the work of aviation professionals.

“Stop the union-busting tactics, end the efforts to divide workers, and respect the professionals who keep aircraft flying safely every day,” demonstrators said in a message directed at the company.

The rallies highlight ongoing labor tensions at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, with workers seeking to protect their rights to organize and advocate for improved workplace conditions.
