STHRN Hospitality Co. has entered into a new operating partnership with Midtown Bowl, a bowling alley that has been part of Atlanta since 1960. STHRN operates several hospitality venues in the metro Atlanta area and will oversee renovations and updates at Midtown Bowl.

The updates are intended to attract new visitors while encouraging regular patrons to return. Planned changes include refreshed events and programming, an enhanced bar and cocktail program, a new food menu, upgraded sound systems throughout the facility, and efforts to create a more personalized experience for guests. Despite these changes, the management states that Midtown Bowl will maintain its vintage atmosphere and community focus.

“STHRN is proud to contribute to the Midtown Bowl story and be a part of welcoming families, friends, and coworkers to celebrate, compete, and connect,” said Kelly Campbell, Co-Founder of STHRN Hospitality Co. “We’re honored to help carry the legacy forward, while keeping the soul of this Atlanta institution alive.”

The renovations will also include an expanded bar with three cocktail wells and an updated menu. A roving cocktail cart will allow drinks to be served directly at lanes. The 11th Frame private event space is scheduled to reopen by the end of 2025 with additional features such as direct access to the bowling alley.

Midtown Bowl will remain open during these renovations, which are expected to finish before year-end.
