Synthica Energy is expanding its operations with a new facility in Georgia, aiming to support the diversion of pre-consumer organic waste from landfills. The company specializes in anaerobic digestion technology, which converts organic materials into renewable natural gas (RNG). Synthica’s approach includes advanced odor control measures designed to minimize the impact on local communities.

According to Synthica, its mission is “to facilitate the diversion of pre-consumer organic waste away from landfills, abate the associated methane emissions, and convert the organic material into renewable natural gas (RNG).” The company says this process offers industrial manufacturers an environmentally responsible way to manage their organic waste while providing North American utilities with a stable supply of RNG.

The firm focuses on what it calls “urban-friendly digestion,” integrating multiple layers of odor control technology. Synthica expects that these measures will allow its facilities to operate smoothly in areas that generate significant amounts of organic waste.

Manufacturing leaders interested in learning how they can reduce waste costs and contribute positively to environmental efforts are encouraged to attend upcoming sessions hosted by Synthica. Those with specific questions about the initiative are invited to contact support@georgiamanufacturing.com.
