The Home Depot has announced an expansion of its Grand Duchess Tree Collection for the 2025 holiday season, responding to ongoing customer demand and feedback. The collection, which gained popularity after going viral on social media in 2023, now features a wider range of sizes and styles.

Aubrey Horowitz, holiday decor merchant at The Home Depot, said, “The expansion of the line came straight from customer feedback. There’s so much excitement around this tree, so we wanted to go all-in and give them more of the collection with new flocked trees, the wreath, garlands and more. This year they can decorate as much as they want with this look and feel that they love.”

New items in the Grand Duchess lineup include flocked trees available in both regular and slim sizes, a wreath, 9-foot and 12-foot garlands, as well as smaller options such as a two-pack of 3-foot trees and a 4-foot potted tree suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Horowitz noted that “We also see customers decorating with more than one tree now, so we added several slim versions so they can fill out entryways and nooks to fit any space.”

The Grand Duchess collection is recognized for its realistic design elements. Its branches are designed to resemble real balsam firs. Quick Set technology and memory wire simplify assembly. Micro fairy bulbs offer nine different light functions including a twinkle setting. According to Horowitz: “It’s a beautiful, high-quality artificial tree with unbeatable innovation and value.”

In addition to expanding the Grand Duchess series, The Home Depot is introducing new lighting options for holiday decorations. The Breckenridge tree includes adaptive lighting technology that allows users to customize brightness, color temperature, dual-color effects, and select from a full-spectrum color wheel. Horowitz explained: “You can create your own color theme, match your favorite sports or football team colors, let the kids pick out a color scheme, and so much more with this tree.” The Breckenridge comes in three sizes with both flocked and unflocked versions.

For those seeking traditional designs, the Nostalgic Noble Tree offers real glass bulbs resembling incandescent lights but using energy-efficient LEDs. It provides nine light functions along with color-changing options. Horowitz said: “I love this tree for its classic, warm and cozy aesthetic that the bulbs bring. It’s really for any decorator and sets the perfect mood for a cheerful, nostalgic holiday.”

The Home Depot also provides resources such as its holiday decorating guide, which offers ideas tailored to various decorating styles including retro-themed décor or classic looks.
