The Home Depot has announced it will serve as the Official Home Improvement Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The company is preparing to help fans get ready for the tournament by offering materials and advice for home celebrations.
“We’re proud to welcome the 2026 FIFA World Cup to our backyard. Celebrate every match. Celebrate every goal. Celebrate at home with The Home Depot,” the company stated.
As part of its involvement, The Home Depot has launched its first FIFA World Cup campaign, highlighted in stories such as “From Aisle to Ad: Inside The Home Depot’s First FIFA World Cup Campaign” and “We All Have a Name: Introducing The Home Depot’s First FIFA World Cup Campaign.” The company has also joined the Atlanta World Cup Host Committee as a host city supporter and is collaborating with the U.S. Soccer Federation on projects aimed at developing soccer in the United States.
The tournament draw is scheduled for December 5, 2025, with the opening match set for June 11, 2026, and the final taking place on July 19, 2026.
The Home Depot notes that it operates more than 2,300 stores and has supported over 60,000 skilled trades careers. It emphasizes readiness to deliver products quickly to help fans prepare for game day events at home.
