The U.S. Census Bureau will host a webinar on Tuesday, January 20, at 1:30 p.m. ET to discuss updates to the methodology for the Vintage 2025 population estimates.

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) is responsible for producing official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Each year, PEP creates a time series of estimates beginning with the most recent decennial census and continuing through the current vintage year, which is the latest year for which estimates are available.

This upcoming webinar will provide information about changes in methodology for the Vintage 2025 estimates series and offer an opportunity to learn more about how these population estimates are developed.
