The University of Georgia has announced its lineup for the spring 2026 Signature Lecture Series, featuring leaders and scholars recognized nationally and internationally in their fields. The series is coordinated by the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, with support from various university departments and endowments.

Ayers, senior vice president for academic affairs and provost. “The University of Georgia is proud to host these distinguished speakers, and I invite students, faculty, staff and community members to experience the impact of their work firsthand.”
Speakers include Adrienne Madison, a biomechanical engineer focused on injury biomechanics in military settings; Audrey King, who leads corporate responsibility efforts at Georgia Power; Anne Barge Clegg, a bridal fashion designer honored by UGA’s College of Family and Consumer Sciences; Stefan Lehmann-Karp from Morgan Stanley Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures; Milind Tambe of Harvard University and Google Research on artificial intelligence for public health; Senior U.S. District Judge Steve C. Jones; Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Rick Atkinson; Nobel laureate economist Lars Peter Hansen from the University of Chicago; former General Mills executive Peter C. Erickson; Stanford emeritus professor Alfred M. Spormann on sustainable energy solutions; Duke University’s Jack Knight on law and political science; and Robert J.
