The University of Georgia hosted 675 donors and guests at the annual Presidents Club Reception on October 17 in the Tate Student Center Grand Hall. The event recognized individuals who have contributed significantly to the university and its students.

“It is truly wonderful to see the remarkable generosity of our Presidents Club donors in support of our great institution,” said UGA President Jere W. Morehead. “Their unwavering loyalty and dedicated support continue to push the University of Georgia to new heights of excellence.”

The Presidents Club consists of alumni and friends who donate $1,500 or more within a fiscal year. In fiscal year 2025, over 9,600 Presidents Club donors gave more than $160 million to the university. Their contributions supported scholarships, facility improvements, endowed professorships, and community outreach efforts.

“Our donors have made truly meaningful contributions that uplift our students, empower our faculty and strengthen the UGA community,” said Jill S. Walton, vice president for development and alumni relations. “Their generosity is inspiring and has a powerful impact. We are deeply thankful for their continued support.”

Donors in the Presidents Club come from 51 states and territories and helped the university achieve a record fundraising total of $300.4 million in fiscal year 2025.
